This show appeals to Trump voters, who I’m assuming watch a lot of CBS (which leans on terrible 3-camera sitcoms like Big Bang Theory and Two Broke Girls, and HIMYM or Two and a Half Men before it). They’re very used to and very comfortable with the multi-camera format.

OMG she is such a bad actor! She was way back then but it seems she got even worse.

If you watch the original, Laurie also had some really horrific comic overacting so I’m not surprised by it. A good director would rein that in, but I’m sure having Jackie look like a whackadoo feminazi is not a concern for the show in its current incarnation.

I just don’t see Roseanne Connor as a Trump supporter. Would she really be ok with Trumps, or Republicans, attitude towards LGBTQ people considering her support of one of her best friends coming out and how she tells off her husband for being weirded out by it? I don’t buy it.

Right?! I keep coming back to this thought. There’s not going to be time for anything else but disaster clean up.

I try and picture what she would does for fun on her own time and then realize that she probably hasn’t had any fun since the age of 7, when she started working on that perma-scowl she sports absolutely every minute of every day.
