On one hand, I get that a lot of criticism of comedians like Schumer is sexist and degrading and she has had to grow a thick skin. Taking every criticism seriously isn’t really an option when a great deal of the criticism you receive probably includes rape threats.

I don’t think he had “writers” - I think he had some of his staff members steal jokes from Twitter (I’ve seen that Melania one about a hundred times) and then he went up there with bullet points and figured he could riff. Meanwhile Hillary hired actual joke writers and clearly had practiced her shit to perfection.…

Yup. I don’t agree with conservatives but I think conservatism is a worthwhile view that can be held by people of conscience. I hope more conservatives like Ana Navarro, Lindsey Graham, Kelly Ayotte et al stand up for the soul of their movement. I would love to have principled conversations that take place in reality.
