I visited this museum last year. Definitely worth checking out.

You’re comparing Technic to Creator Expert. Technic is all about the mechanical functions and build technique. Creator is basically model building with bricks.

I don’t want to get into an argument about it, but I’d wager I’ve seen at least 2 or 3 times as many movies as the average reader on this site. It helps that I’m old enough to have seen the original Star Wars films in the theater, when they were new. I also have taste.

As others have said, give The Mandalorian a try. It’s what Star Wars should really be. And this is coming from someone who think sThe Last Jedi is one of the worst movies ever made, so I know your pain.

I had an older co-worker complain to me that “your generation” is just freaking out because we’ve never been through anything. She was blabbering on about Vietnam and some other nonsense. Never mind that she’s only about 10 years older than me and had nothing to do with Vietnam...

Wait a few months and this is $2 at Redbox. So, not really a bargain. Honestly, that’s the price point they should be aiming for, or at least, what various on-demand services charge.

Don’t underestimate the need for some people to be “The First” to do something on YouTube...

You mean the suspension and aero that they redesign every year anyway...? I literally remember Pirelli saying years ago that they didn’t want any changes to the tire sidewalls because it was the last place on the car they could still put their name where people could actually read it. Sure, there’s all the nonsense

I don’t think the author understands that performance cars use low profile tires to reduce sidewall flex during cornering, or that series like Formula 1 and NASCAR use “fat” sidewall tires because the tire manufacturers want a large enough space to slap their brand name on.

Traffic on I-405 doesn’t seem to have improved...

I’m probably going to burn for this, but I kind of like E/28...

The truck stunt is pretty great. I don’t know if it’s better than the chariot race in Ben-Hur, though.

I remember the year when half the people who went to PAX got swine flu. This con is not a good idea...

Honest question: Do you really think J.J. Watt would be hosting Saturday Night Live if he wasn’t any good?

Okay, I’ve always been much more of a fan of ‘68-’69 Chevelles, but that green one is hot.

Because all Disney ever wanted to do was imitate the original trilogy.

That was the second movie - a sequel to a film no one really thought was going to be a hit - and technically the fifth part of a story that Yoda was actually in the first three parts of. So not even close to the same thing...

The Car Culture line is part of Hot Wheels. One of the things that makes the Car Culture line superior is metal bodies, metal bases, and rubber tires.

I miss mine, too. My sympathies as well.

I was three years old when I saw the original in theaters in 1977. You know what? I’d be perfectly happy if no one ever made another Star Wars movie. How about we try that instead? Basically remaking the originals is boring, trying to go in another direction is lame and stupid. Let’s just let it go.
