nothing about that is body positive.
Right? Doesn’t seem like this “body positive icon” is all that positive about female bodies.
Thank you. I don’t know that many men who get upset about men existing in different shapes and sizes. However, men who are chill about body diversity in men tend to have less chill viewpoints when it comes to women existing in different shapes and sizes.
“So, you’re saying you don’t go down?” the interviewer clarified.
Sure he’s cool with himself having the beer gut and letting it all hang out, lots of guys are.
1st let’s not lump all gay men beauty bloggers together. Yes some have varying skill levels and talents. Just like any group some can be problematic but the few that are don’t represent all.
I think you need to adress that on an individual basis and not as a group. You have to remember gay men are a minority group that doesn’t even have the same rights as heterosexual woman or even lesbian woman.
Lets not group all gay men together with a few bad apples. You wouldn't hear me say a criticism like that based on someone's skin color and it's no different than someone's sexuality.
You need the right house and the right purple.
Two blues, two purples, and a pink, but no pastel green? For shame.
Yes, I want to drop six figures on an Aston-Martin SUV to look like a Mary Kay salesperson.
There are a lot of legit criticisms to make of them as people, but A Rod was not a middling talent. As a player he has HOF stats (steroid scandal notwithstanding) and he’s respected as a broadcaster.
If anyone on earth would have a hard time feeling comfortable with their adult womanhood it would be someone who was groomed by their parents and sold to an elderly man in their teens. It would be very difficult to come back from that with any sense of self and comfort in ones sexual self.
“I’ve never felt like I ever fit in anywhere. I was bullied horribly in school because I was different. The other girls never understood me. It got so bad that my mom pulled me out of school.”
I hate to be all “this is what passes for journalism these days?” but uh...
Yep. Sounds like normal use of grammar and syntax to me. TS is singing about an unnamed male companion so what else is she (!) going to use?... “It”..?
not to mention that “they/them” is pretty commonly used when speaking in the singular anyways. it doesn't have any special meaning other than as an indication of bad grammar.
“I mean, is Harron implying that the use of “they/them” pronouns is meaningful? (I think that they/them has commonly been used to indicate generality, i.e. “people”).”
I don’t understand
