Over on io9, I posted at the end of last season that I wouldn’t be watching this current season. I was done, I said. People told me I wouldn’t me missed, that one person wouldn’t make a difference, and blah, blah, blah.
I mean, I don’t know now. I wasn’t expecting the pushback that I got - not even one person to offset the disagreement. Now I’m just wondering if this was flawed technology to begin with.
I heard that, too. I heard that it’s specifically going around the Orlando area on Friday, November 25th. Sure would be a shame if I were to catch it at the airport on the way home.
My suburb - I’d rather not say which; that’s a little too granular for the level of anonymity I like to maintain around here - hasn’t seen any of the backlash over the last week, fortunately. Nothing pro- or anti-Trump. Life just sort of goes on here. We’re fortunate. Others have not been nearly so lucky.
I remember hearing that bit when I was a teenager and thinking it made so much logical sense. Yeah! Fuckers! Move to where the food is!
You guys are turning my oven-based culinary world upside-down here.
I’m not a hipster, nor do I live in New York. I actually live in a suburb of Houston, and I fucking hate it here. I’d like to see some of those sources, because I’ve never heard that, and it kind of destroys the entire point of the things - and since I use one pretty regularly, that ain’t good news lol
BUILD MORE HOUSING.

Honestly, that was my favorite bit. Loved that.
It existed as a way for small states to not be ruled by the tyranny of the majority
What you’re missing is that he’s lying. He can describe himself however he wants.
I think that we can talk about individual articles out of the tens of thousands at Breitbart, but, you know, NPR is taxpayer-funded...
That sucks. But it may be for the best, from the sound of it.
where do you put your change? leaving them in your suit pocket is the quickest way to get holes in them.
I do wish you the best of luck. But while I greatly respect your passion, I do think it will ultimately be futile. I’ve decided my best course of action is to get active in local politics. Once I have some experience on the local level, I intend to go to work with someone on the state level. I don’t think I’ll aim for…
