Well as reputable as those resources sound, I’m going to just say they’re welcome to disagree with me. My family wouldn’t be where it is right now without me wife and I taking on student loan debt, and we’re thankful for the education we were able to afford. Likewise the house, and likewise the car.

Can we talk about type of debt, though? Because people take it too far. Being in debt for a reliable car, or a quality home, or a quality education, is far different than carrying a balance on your credit cards every month because you can’t stop buying McDonald’s every day and you just had to have the latest iPhone.
