No, they don’t. It’s open source. Not everyone who produces software makes money, or wants to. The adage “you’re the product” isn’t always true.

What are you talking about? You download the app once. It takes, literally, about thirty seconds because it’s very small. True, you have to remember to launch it, but if you’re afraid of that kind of mental effort, you might have deeper problems than any app can help with.

I’ll be in Manhattan on Saturday for six days, right in Times Square. I’m looking forward to being close to enough PokeStops to rack up enough PokeBalls to keep my playing for weeks after my trip. Living in the suburbs kinda sucks in some respects lol

That’s good, if you have the mental fortitude for it. If not, a program like SelfControl is fantastic. You know the sites you waste time on the most, so add them to the black list, and turn the app on when it’s time to work. No matter what you do, you’re not getting to those sites.
