oh, totally.
And that’s really what the “defund the police” movement is all about. When you’re a hammer (or an armored vehicle), everything looks like a nail.
But of course it’s willfully interpreted as “we don’t want any police at all and we want violent criminals to run the streets”.

He might have a gun!  Don’t want to put ourselves in danger!  See Uvalde, TX.

That American Flag graphic definitely gives off “Solidarity with Trucker Convoy” vibes...

CF is fuckin insane though. I ate there for the first time in March, got a burger and was like ‘There may be too much cheese on this burger’. I love cheese but there’s a line, man!

Restaurants, you do what you need to do to make your business work, and I’m going going to order in a way that makes sense for me. If we don’t see eye to eye, that’s OK, I’ll just go somewhere else.

I never had heard of Pizza Hut till after I left boot camp and was stationed in Wichita Falls, Texas. I grew up on Long Island and we only had Italian Pizza places and Italian restaurants. When I first ate Pizza Hut I was disgusted. It tasted like ketchup on baked, stale bread. There were no “eyetalian” restaurants in

Where are you now? You are right, a catchment area of 35k seems small for 6 car washes. But it’s probably based mostly on traffic count over the nearby roads.

CA does have weird rules with water recapture making commercial car washes more viable, as they are more regulated. True to what you are saying, the automated

None of it works these days. Construction prices are too high, and lending costs need to come down.

The cost of building a car wash is in the neighborhood of $4-6M. This is for a tunnel, conveyorized car wash. It varies a lot by land costs, which are extra on the figure above. A self-serve car wash can be built but most never do, because the costs of that can be $2M+, and won’t have subscriptions, etc.    It is true

I spoke to someone a few years ago (before Covid, so who knows how that put a damper on things) who was in the process of selling his house to coincide with he and his wife’s retirement. They were going to spend at least a few years living off of cruise ships. Florida apparently makes it easy to setup your home

Read my post.

I actually understand this.

A gas station is a terrible use for land that you’re squatting on. Developers avoid buying land that used to be a gas station because: 1) Given the likelihood of contamination, you have to spend six-figures on environmental testing while in due diligence, and whether or not their is contamination and/or you close,

It’s because uber/lyft drivers have to wash their cars on an extremely regular basis. Many wash their cars every day, to look as clean as possible to maximize their ratings, and uber suggests they get car wash memberships for this purpose.

They also, at least on some types of washes, are able to filter and recirculate some of the water. Others seem to use less water in the cleaning stage, opting for foams and such.

It depends. I took my first cruise ever this past fall, 6 nights. It was not in the Caribbean, 98% of passengers were not American, there were ZERO children, the scenery was great, the food was great, there were only about 275 passengers, and most people did not speak English as their first language. It was wonderful.

Sure, but mental illness absolutely has nothing to do with being antisemitic, racist, sexist, Homophobic, transphobic, or any other bigotry.

Utter. Fucking. Bullshit.

LMAO. No one who is sincere puts out their apology on Xitter.

Pretty sure it was just the usual crap of them preying people that will never drive back from their home state to fight the ticket.
