I would add “Reservoir Dogs.” I felt that the movie was excellent, a heist film gone sideways. But the violence, which didn’t seem gratuitous or pornographic, was so difficult to stomach that I don’t feel it’s a rewatchable movie.

Good points.

Sure, BUT Cotham did have the pro-choice bona fides. It seems that nobody foresaw this level of petty entitlement and self-importance that saw her deciding to switch parties and at least one key human rights position.

Being the people in charge of running the nation and also being pro labor does not mean that there aren’t compromises or limits on what the nation can handle because of a strike. WGA strikes? No problem—it only affects entertainment, not the functioning of the nation. The railroad workers want to strike? That’s a

Dick, much? Did I even mention the video itself? Or the particular guy in it? And the tattoos are obvious, especially if you are in-person with the guy. The guys who made the video SAW those tattoos at the time they made the video unless they were the most unobservant people of all time.

I still have high hopes for you, Steve!

I really wish that I had the kind of money Mr. Portelli does. But I just can’t see owning a car—exotic, race and/or classic—and never driving it. And I doubt that the appreciating value of any such vehicles is more than a footnote in Mr. Portelli’s wealth portfolio. I just don’t get this type of vehicle ownership. I

Seriously, Steve? You’ve lost 50% of your rider cred by calling a BMW motorcycle a “Bimmer.” EVERYBODY at Jalopnik knows that Bimmers are BWM cars and Beemers/Beamers are BMW motorcycles.

I don’t understand your complaint. Is a wealthy person not allowed to take moral and ethical stands? Do you really think that Mandy Patinkin, in particular, wouldn’t back a strike by IATSE? You might want to post this on the s/Reddit “AITA” and see what results you get.

Oh. Oh, no. I didn’t know about the director’s cut and that scene. That’s not cringey, that’s just gross that it was even written and filmed. Thank goodness it’s not in the main theatrical release.

He already has, just moments after the verdict on his little vanity “Truth” Social app.

I used to live in Oakland and handled cases at the Alameda County Superior Court there. I know the area. But, you know, I’m just a guy on the internet, so don’t believe me.

The difference was whether he penetrated Ms. Carroll with only his stubby little fingers or also with his stubby little penis. If they had found the latter, it would have been rape. As it was, it was rape. Orange Thing will spin this like crazy but the verdict speaks for itself. I’m sure he’ll have lawyers looking

Citizens aren’t being attacked in these incidents. Regardless of where they are taking place, there’s no need for “defense” of any kind.

Show your proof. Like I said, these incidents usually don’t occur in residential neighborhoods. They might go through them, but they don’t usually happen in them. Yes, it’s a fine distinction.

No, but regarding “armed citizens” it shows the pointlessness of that or that people are “taking their families” to such events. That’s not happening.

These incidents usually don’t occur in residential neighborhoods. In the SF Bay Area, they’ve happened on the Golden Gate Bridge and the Oakland-SF Bay Bridge, too. This one was in a business district.

1) Correction: if it was a Subaru, it was an Outback (you can tell the difference by the size of the rear side window).
