No, ASSHOLE, they didn’t disagree. At this point, I’m writing you off as nothing more than some stupid-thinks-he’s-smart troll. Buh-bye!

I was NOT comparing these situations at all. Are you sure you can read and comprehend the plain-meaning of sentences? Where did I make the comparison???? My comment was made in reply to someone else’s comment, which perhaps you failed to read that, too.
I agree. And I’m not the easiest going, least judgmental person by a long shot. But since I moved to my region in part of the PNW about 6-1/2 years ago, I’ve become much nicer to people (most of the time...) and understand how the basic life-tenet “don’t be a dick” is so important.
I was referring to Rodney King who did not have a gun. Perhaps some better reading comprehension from you?
At this point, I’m just going to quote the late Rodney King:
As a long-time motorcyclist, it’s got to be Richard Thompson’s 1952 Vincent Black Lightning. No, I’m not a “1%’er outlaw biker” and I didn’t “rob[bing] many a man to get my [MV Agusta] machine.” But somehow, 99 out of a hundred listenings to this song brings tears to my eyes. It’s powerful and full of love and tragic…
I just don’t get it. These people, so-called “sovereign citizens” and others, LOVE being in America, claim to be great patriots, but don’t believe that our government and laws apply to them at all? How does anybody get so deluded, so indoctrinated (because it’s not their own, spontaneous “research” that leads them to…
You betcha! Some new tires, chain, change all the fluids and a few fuel system bits and I’ll be on the road. Well, once winter ends and the city cleans the gravel off the roads...
I know this will get deleted but this is the nature of her weekend articles—mostly substance- and detail-free. Like: oh, right, you need to wax the vehicle after polishing!
Son Of A Bit...!
Funny story (and I will omit many details to make it brief): back in college, I was trying to buy a Vespa but the owner kept saying they needed to fix this and that before they could show it (mind you: this was pre-public Internet days in 1984). Eventually I bought a 250cc two-stroke streetbike and that’s how I became…
Right?
Wow, I always wondered who would own a “maxi-scooter!” I mean, they look fun (I like the BMWs a lot) but, well, I’m a motorcycle guy and just don’t have the funds, room, or need for a scooter.
“Includes river branches (original cost: $2,700)“
Uh, the Suzuki Burgman 650? Yeah, it looks great and has really low mileage...which indicates that the thing was never used and hasn’t been serviced since 2007. Oh, they did reduce the price from $8,500 (!) down to $7,000. J.D. Powers (formerly NADA, RIP) shows $2,160 average retail. Even if we doubled that, the…
Colorado’s current age of consent is 17 years of age. If the girlfriend is under 17 years of age, Boebert’s son should be charged and tried for statutory rape. Period.
Geez, Kyle, you should have gone with just a Blaupunkt AM/FM stereo cassette deck! That’s Porsche!
As a 38-year street rider (and 11 years roadracing), I can tell you that you are wrong. In point of fact, all other motorists are out there “trying” (mostly via negligence and inattention, and occasionally with some intention) to kill motorcyclists. The point is that as the mostly unprotected rider, you need to be the…
Good story!
Love you, Elizabeth. Thank you for sharing your experience in detail so other, especially non-riding, Jalops get a sense of what riding a motorcycle on a racetrack is like. Kudos!
