I think what you’re describing is “Social Entrepreneurship”. Humanitarianism used to mean donating $ or essential goods, now it’s more about economically self-sustainable solutions so people can buy their own essentials, like Kiva was supposed to do. You should have more options now and even orgs that will do the work…
