Thank you so much! Yeah, I'm totally the person who has to have a 5 year plan, even if I have to change it every day. I'm super excited for first year when I can just get into everything and take my first year intro courses and see what I like.

Have fun in Italy! My sister has been and loved it.
I always cry while watching Persepolis. And I really liked the 2012 movie Lore. It's about a German girl in 1945, whose parents are Nazis. They have to turn themselves in to the Soviets, and the girl (who is like 15/16) has to take her 4 younger siblings by foot across Germany to their grandmother's house. It's about…
Holocene by Bon Iver. I went to university for a semester before dropping out. It was really far away (like 8 hours) and I'd never spent a lot of time away from home before that. I have really bad anxiety and terrible self esteem, and no one I knew went to the same university. I got incredibly depressed. I thought…
I have some questions for those of you in science careers. I'm going to be applying to university this winter (for undergrad) and am applying to chemistry and physics. Right now chemistry seems more likely. I'm also interested in materials science. I don't really know what I want to do yet, I just now I want it to be…
Orion is so.freaking.cute (and cool). Good naming.
I feel you. I've been obsessed with names since I was like 8, still am.
My bet is on Arianna for a girl. Kay, maybe it won't be like Emma or Jennifer, but I think it'll be like top 5. It's already pretty high on the list.
I love American Horror Story, all the seasons, but I really wish there was less rape. There has been at least one rape each season, and the ones in Asylum were extremely graphic.
I love Nan. The dress she was wearing this episode was fab. Also love Misty. And Queenie. And Zoe. And to an extent, Madison.
My oldest sister had The Craft on vhs and thus my other older sister and I loved to steal it and watch it all the time. My sister and my cousins' and I would always try to do the "stiff as board, light as a feather" levitation thing. Much to our utter disappointment, it did not work.
I love the fuck out of Now and Ten (!!!).
I have 2 outdoor cats and 1 indoor cat. I was going to make a big long post how they're all happy and healthy and loved, but I live on a farm far away from the road so I don't know if my experiences would be applicable to most people's dilemma, of letting cats out of doors in a suburban area.
ditto (on both parts)
Have to agree that Hunger Games is meh. I liked the first Hunger Games book, thought Catching Fire was boring but drudged on because I'd heard the last one was good, got to it and thought it was boring as well. Also have to agree with another poster that said the writing in the trilogy is very basic.
Persephone is so bad ass! Well done.
I think Arianna is going to be the next super popular one for girls. I'm in Canada where Arianna has become quite popular for new babies in the past couple of years. I quite like it though.
oh my gosh she's so adorable!
thank you :) and i'm glad!
I have a question/survey for anyone who is going into or has gone into the sciences. I'm deciding between chemistry and physics for my undergrad, and would love to hear from people who are already there or beyond, or just know what they're going to do with their life/career because I am so unsure about everything.…
