I showed up for what turned out to be MLM. I stood up half way through told them that they had lied to me on the phone and in their job listing, and left.

This.

Why is Once Upon A Time In Hollywood even on these lists? It was wholy forgettable.

I get a lot of mileage out of this gif on articles like this.

I just did what I should have done: googled it. According to google, gold has no discernible flavour.

So, if you bought a car and they accidentally gave you the keys to a more expensive model, do you think that you are entitled to that more expensive car? This order might have just been meant for another table and they screwed up, but there is no way in hell they missed the fact that this wasn't what they ordered.

Him and the board of directors should all be sued for allowing this all to happen.

You don’t think that he is on the hook since only an huge idiot would assume that there would be gold on the $2000 fancy steak AND the regular $200 version of that steak? It is pretty front and center on the menu.

Wouldn’t the gold flake just add a metallic taste to the steak? I have never eaten gold before. The closest thing would be the time that I drunkenly tore a little of the Wendy’s wrapper when biting a late night burger while walking home.

And they are the same people who make a big deal of letting you use their pen.

Nicely done.

Could you please provide some examples and more than 2.

I would ask to speak to their manager as that is none of their fucking business.

And add a lock. I specifically added a lock to one of my desk drawers after I busted a coworker in my snack drawer.

If I didn't have a straight answer on a refund in 7 days, I would just go straight to my credit card company for get them to deal with it. I've actually had great experiences with getting visa to get refunds out of places that have failed to provide service.

I drive barefoot now and then. One of my pairs of work boots are too stiff to drive properly in so i just pop the right boot off. I had a similar problem with a pair of hiking boots.

This looks like it would need an absurd amount of work and that interior does not look promising for how it was cared for.

I am up here in Canada where we've had the chip readers on the pumps for a long time. I can't remember the last time that I had to go inside to pay.
