I think it does. Especially with the 8 speed, that helps a bit. We've had 5 people in the GC and it's moved just fine. My wife doesn't have a lead foot, either. Would I, personally, have liked the V8? Sure. But for what we will be using it for, the Jeep has plenty of power. I still think with the V6, it's about a 8

I tried to convince my wife to get the Black Forest Green, but she opted for the True Blue for our 2014 Overland. I drive a black Tundra, and she didn't want "two black vehicles". Odd thing is, her favorite color is green.

Nice! We just picked up a 2014 Overland. It's my wife's vehicle, and even though I tried to convince her, she passed on the Black Forest Green and got the True Blue Pearl. We also stuck with the base v6, as it's more than enough for what she will use it for (I tried for the hemi, but she was more interested in the

When I see the name Macan, I can't help but think of Macon, and their former ECHL hockey team, Macon Whoopie. That's what they should call the Macan turbo.

It's cool and all, but not enough of an upgrade over the T6 AWD R design to warrant what will most likely be a significant price difference. The no manual thing doesn't bother me. I've got my "fun" car to fill that need. What I need to move around my family in needs to be comfortable, easy to use (stop and start in a

I really dislike twitpics. Blocked at work. Not that tease pics are worth a damn, anyway.

That's why checking bags should be free, carry ons should be charged a fee. Imagine how much easier boarding/deboarded would be without all those damned bags.

Concur. 100% of the time the person in front of me is not taller than me, and as it usually turns out is a 5 year old kid fiddling around with the buttons on the seat. I'm glad all you short-ass people feel the need to recline. I may have "paid for it" but as a courtesy, knowing how little room there already is in

US Spec bumper on the 25th Anni Countach. Yikes!

Lambo nosejob, the picture really does not do it proper injustice.

Of course. Miata Is Always The Answer.

Completely agree. I'm in the double db category for Jalop-ness, I have a crew cab modern full size pickup AND it's a Toyota. I'm surprised I haven't been kicked out.

What history are we forgetting? That gas prices are volatile and fluctuate?

For sure. Having not read the Ford/Shelby perspective, I am curious if anyone can briefly provide Ford's side.

I haven't read the book. I've read history of the aborted Ferrari-Ford deal, but from (apparently) the Ferrari perspective. My history may be wrong, but I though Ferrari called the deal off in anger after Ford tried bamboozle them and acquire all of the company (included racing operations) when it had been previously

And in BMW-land, where do I find these mythical "base" models? Not at any dealer lots. Add, what, $3k for either of them somewhat reasonably equipped.

Anytime I drive in NY, I'm more cautious than normal. NY (especially northern, where I'm originally from) has always been anal about speed enforcement. In my early 20s, I received 1 ticket for 4 over (39 in a 35) and one for 3 over (58 in a 55). The fact that they're giving them 5 over now...wow, it's like Christmas!

Completely agree. I came here to post the same thing. Rear pillar looks off, too.

No they aren't. In similar news, expect a new RX-7 from Mazda any day now!

Watching the video, it was an older/2nd gen Acura TL. So you're 100% correct.
