Still trying to understand why WFH is facing such the backlash. I lobbied for it at my workplace about 6 months before COVID hit, secured it after a little bit of hemming and hawing, and its worked out fantastically. Not a minute of lost productivity. And then when COVID hit and most of the rest of the company headed

It’s sad housing prices are so f’d $3K/month is cheaper rent and better accommodations for some.

I should have clarified; I want LOCAL co-op and the current LAN party setup still requires an Internet connection... for reasons?... and a PC to act as the host. I want what Halo and Halo II had, where all you needed was a bunch of Xboxes.

Without co-op and local LAN parties, I reject the idea that any Halo could feel like a franchise peak. Yes, I’m old. Yes, I’m grumpy.

Do you carry the same energy for all of the exclusives held by Sony and Nintendo that have never seen the light of day on either PC or an Xbox console? If you don’t, then you’re being rather hypocritical, as even though CoD is a big seller, both Sony and Nintendo have exclusives that have sold in the tens of millions

Well, enjoy Sony while you can.

Getting some Giffnay vibes here.

The ship off the coast of Greece probably took over 500 people down with it. 50-100 reported to be children. All could probably have been safely transported and set up with a trust fund or something for the money spent internationally trying to rescue the Titan occupants

Bad taste? In a Grand Theft Auto game? What is the world coming to?!

Ugh.

Because with the apparent invulnerability that the rich typically have for consequences, typically with poor people suffering for them instead, it’s nice to see these assholes actually face one for once in their goddamn lives. We’d rather have a just and equitable system where nobody has to needlessly die, but short

Clue, now that’s a good movie.

It’s not a submarine.

I enjoy FF7R’s gameplay. I do not enjoy FF16's. Honestly if they’d made the combat in 16 more like FF7R I might have had a lot more fun playing but as it currently stands I’m not really vibing with it. Well, that and the tone of the story in FF16 isn’t really something that appeals to me.

My only real complaint with

Have people soured on Final Fantasy VII: Remake’s combat?

Have people soured on Final Fantasy VII: Remake’s combat? Because like, I am in the middle of replaying it, and I’d like more, please. Just finished the main game and am starting the Yuffie episode, and the Synergize and other minor quality of life fixes make me think that system has legs. Their upgrade system is...is

It’s also because they all looked at the death trap designed by a rich idiot who refused to listen to safety concern and said “Shut up and take an amount of money that would make a huge difference in anyone’s lives but is pocket change to me”

Most people would like to not have to worry about day to day living expenses, nobody *needs* to be a billionaire, someone with enough wealth to solve those problems on a planetary scale but choose not to, preferring to hoard it on a scale that they could not possibly have any use for personally

I think Crash 4 didn’t sell too well which is why they pivoted to this. Crash 4 also had quite a big change in public perception with the game being too difficult and punishing for anyone who liked gem collection and the levels were TOOOOOOO long.

It’s true if it’s not Crash 5 then I don’t care.
