Here is a better question - Why are we sending anything at all? 5 people, 3 of them billionaires decided to do something insanely stupid and now we will spend millions of dollars looking for them, and risking other peoples lives. It sucks, but we shouldnt be financing the rescue of people that do insanely dumb shit

Starfield is generic space shooter vibes. Was looking forward to seeing it but it just looks meh.

Is the rest of the article title on the second disc?

What’s really impressive about TOTK is that it lets you do whatever you want and it’s also a good game. I can’t think of any other games that balance these so well.

I realize you’re angry at Nintendo for being particularly litigious against pirates and people who otherwise commit copyright infringement, but you have to keep in mind that Nintendo does not consider those people to be their customers.

I do love folks finding ways to be preemptively outraged and/or offended.

A designer knows he has achieved perfection not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.

Better to release a half-assed game today

it likely wasn’t their choice. with an IP like this the publisher likely forced release.

This was playtested and they knew it was a mediocre product, they just don’t care as long as enough people pay AAA game prices for it.

Fixing the bugs won’t change the fact that the game itself doesn’t sound playable, fun, or worth anyone’s time.

Hell even Kotaku ran a slide show about the price of collectable videos games that was way off. You guys talked all about how some

This is a community I’ve had experience with and sadly any time a company is willing to pay them(or just give free merch in some case) many in this community will willing shill on YouTube or podcasts. I suppose it’s the same with almost anything but it was sad when is saw friends get really into a game they liked to

I dont see a problem with them saying that coverage needs to be positive. They arent considering a business deal with this guy to pay him for a review. the yare considering it as an advertisement investment. Would you pay for an ad that shows your product in a negative light? Probably not. All of this is clear from

Exploiting workers is how every American business succeeds because it's really easy to exploit workers when unions practically don't exist anymore.

Quitting en masse AND on the day of a huge release points to not just dissatisfaction with a job, but an abusive workplace. It reflects poorly on GameStop, not on these employees.

I’ve stopped feeling bad for people who still shop at Gamestop.  I also don’t understand those people.

I’m sure they got their money back.

I’m all for people quitting GameStop. Sounds like a shitty job and there are much better ones out there! But I hope no one thinks these protests are going to change anything. It’s a sinking ship, there’s no alternate universe where GameStop turns things around and becomes successful again. Retail in general, and video
