Holy crap! My stepdaughter lives there but I find out about this on Jalopnik?! She lives in one of the units that never had the doors installed so I guess that explains why. It’s not a good area, honestly. I’m sure the rule had more to do with people growing weed or cooking meth in their garages. I’m completely

I’d like clarification on his thoughts about pulling the mask off the ol’ Lone Ranger.

The look on Scotty’s face there never fails to make me laugh.

They make decals for your garage door that make it look like it’s open. Problem solved.

He also advocates putting time in a bottle.

I don’t see what the big deal is, here’s my solution: Garage door posters.

You mean they can “fuck right off...until further notice”

Landlord James Croci wants you to know that he is also in favor of you tugging on Superman’s cape and spitting into the wind.

You have clearly never lived anywhere with an HOA. The people that become the leaders are almost invariably people that would become totalitarian despots if given the opportunity. It’s just like politics in general.

I don’t think there was a transient problem. If the problem had been people sneaking in to sleep at night, the doors would be need to be open at night, not during the day. This is likely a response to Airbnb or just unsanctioned subleasing.

I “like” your use of “quotes” here. Seems like something a “reasonable” person would do.

Jeez the least they could do is learn to speak our language as poorly as we do.

Naw, it was some old white dude who thinks the Mexicans are moving in.

“Hopefully the neighborhood and the HOA can work together on a more logical solution.”

You may keep your garage doors down until further notice.

“The Board of Directors will be working with the Membership (Homeowners) to hopefully come up with a more ‘reasonable’ policy.“

I love how the HOA announcement throws quotations around the word “reasonable.”

Seems like securing the side doors would solve the problem of transients doing their thing. Why not make that the rule?
