Women live with these fears every day, especially those who’ve been assaulted in the past. For you to think it’s such an unreasonable conclusion shows an incredible lack of awareness and imagination on your part.

I assume you’re a woman, because I also came to the same conclusion. These are things women worry about on a daily basis, so it’s not uncommon to come to this conclusion.

As it has become more apparent recently all of the sketchy shit female media people of any stature have to endure, there’s a decent chance that the sketchy iPad text and the sketchy dude in the truck are unrelated to another separate sketchy thing that happened to her.

I was just saying it wouldn’t be my first thought when she was recovered “unharmed” according to the police and there was no indication they were looking for suspects.

One of the local stations reported that her family said she had been “on high alert” ever since her car was broken in to a few weeks ago. So she was already stressed when some creep followed her home late at night, which must have been terrifying. Would not be surprised if that triggered some sort of fugue state.
