Well, she did want to explain institutional racism, seems like she hit the nail on the head.

As someone pointed out in the Gawker article, administrators at that level tend to be intellectually mediocre and morally cowardly; they are careerists and act in no greater purpose than their own professional ones and their school's "brand."
