Augh! Yes!

Not cool. The base makes you move your booty!

YES. I've had perfectly nice relationships ruined by my nose.

Can I please throw in the following?:

Yeah, I had my nose bobbed and feel exactly the same way. I knew what I was doing, I did it for me, I'm very happy with the outcome. The idea that someone who saw my recovery images might have pitied me or felt sorry for me just pisses me off.

THIS x 1000.

Well put.

Yeah, most bars I can think of would boot her and her baby out...especially once the kitchen is closed.

Yeah, I'm not overly bothered by it. Though I'd feel better if I knew the proceeds of such a heist were being used to feed orphans. I highly suspect this is not the case.

Well, considering that the first ingredient in many formulas is high-fructose corn syrup (that's right, massive doses of sucrose and fructose) and that shit is completely toxic, I'm glad I chose to breastfeed. I could not, in good conscience, feed that to my kid.

On behalf of teachers, thank you for your thoughtfulness and support. We need everyone to come to the same realization you have!

Fuck this shit. I've had quite enough of teacher bashing.

I'm totally going to deliberately misinterpret your comment; I do dress nicely, always. So yes,I AM the change I wish to see. You don't exactly dress "at" someone, but at the same time your appearance does speak volumes about how you see yourself and others. Are there exceptions to this? Of course, we're humans after

But the slobs. They are everywhere. And I keep bumping into things!

Hahaha, in your case you have my full blessing. Also, I'm never ever awake at that ungodly hour, so the fact that you're even standing then leaves me in the dust.

Eyeroll.

Yes, and I did say this in another comment. I don't change how I treat people based on their clothes; I have enough kindness, consideration and awareness to realize I can't possibly know what anyone's story is. But at the same time, I'm sure not every person in my city is suffering from the flu and just crawled out to

I never advocated that anyone treat anyone else badly because of their appearance. But I'm also pragmatic, and realize that people DO judge based on appearance. It's part of the real world we live in. Unfortunate? Yes. Decidedly un-idealistic? You bet. But it's what happens.

Travel more, outside of resorts. Yeah.

Yeah, you can't help but feel these people have no idea the mixed (and mixed-up) messages they're sending. It's like they got dressed in the twilight zone.
