Oh right, so I can get a better view of unwashed hair and ball caps. Great.

So do you think people should just walk around nude? Expecting clothing is a standard. Is it okay to reek of BO and cat piss? Nope, it isn't. I never said I expected much; just cleanliness and a minor amount of consideration for one's appearance. No need for high falutin' heels or dinner jackets. But please, remove…
Not catty. Just pragmatic and honest. People are swayed by eachother's appearances in all areas of life. Might as well be honest about it.
Holy shit, you're right! I'm such a fucking racist for even having noticed how 90% of the earth's population conduct their public lives. Oh, the horror! I'll just go shoot myself.
Yep, Europe too. My husband is even an import. ;-)
Please, don't pity me. I really don't need it, especially from someone who has self-righteous nailed.
Thank you.
Sounds almost fun. Of course, "foreigners" are always 10,000 times more charming than your daily neighbours back home.
Cultural bias here; I'm in Canada, where many solidly middle class (and even lower class) earners splashed the cash on Lululemon because it's "Canadian." They're everywhere...and most of them are pretty awful, or schlumpy at best. We're just getting Target now, so maybe I'll be seeing more of their yoga pants soon?
Indeed I must be.
I'm very glad that's the case. Everyone deserves respect.
Please see my response to Bobloblaw.
I have travelled quite a bit, thankyouverymuch. I'm sure the people of Central and South America, who never leave the house without a pressed and collared shirt and full-length pants (no shorts, no flipflops) would be quite offended by you overlooking them. Same goes for many of the residents of the Carribean, African…
Bahaha. I type on ipad, sometimes it no work so good. Me sooooo stupid.
Yes, I was generalizing. Though I do find the boys in London in their suits and Pink shirts quite cute. ;-)
Yes, and you have the right. And I'm still going to be a decent human to you. But just don't go getting all down when you never EVER get compliments/get treated rudely/are assumed to be incompetent by many people. That's just human nature.
Yes, and I can tell the difference between you (wearing all gym attire, hair pulled up, slightly glowy) and the woman who refuses to wear real pants (covered in cat hair, worn with ill-fitting tee and flipflops, carrying plastic purse the dog chewed on). I have no issue with you. It is the latter I have a problem…
Or maybe Duchess should wear the shirt, so we know to avoid her (Just kidding). ;-)
I really do wish more people gave a shit about their appearance. I'm not asking for plastic surgery or designer clothes or even makeup. I'm asking for proper (non-plastic) footware, jeans with their crotches in tact, street clothes for the street (as opposed to pyjamas or gym clothes). I fucking hate looking at…
Wha???
