I'm not sure I entirely agree. I'm glad someone is finding out what's in my makeup. And, as they say, you can't expect to get anything for free these days...

Good point, but you know what I mean. ;-P

Yup, that's pretty much it. Usually because you have a screaming baby in your arms and there isn't a sink anywhere in the next 10,000 miles.

This is weird for me. I can understand her desire to see her friend "shape up," even though the idea of telling someone they don't look good/there's something wrong with them does not sit well with me.

Sephora are part of the LVMH cosmetics line...Benefit, Dior and other LVMH brands are on the FDA'S list, so I would NOT assume that Sephora is okay.

Yeah, well, if lipstick was something men used massively I'm pretty sure there would be a nation wide recall on just about every shade. Women's health? Who cares. Just sayin'.

Not so fast Portrait...lots of Chanel on the full FDA list. Check yo' shade. Sorry!

Hey Jenna, the link to the FDA list isn't working; heads up!

The fact that a supposedly "natural" brand (Burt's Bees) is on this list pretty much says it all. You can't assume that any brand is safe, or better than the others. Excellent plan.

Demand to get out. Really. It might save your life.

June? Juuuuune? Such a long, long wait. Sigh.

"The poo is going to rip apart my butt cheeks just to come out and say "hi" to the teachers." I die.

Holy shit I love this video.

They all look awful to me. Ms. $200 has the nicest mane...the others have thin, overly processed scruff. Can't do much with that. To make this work they should have sent four women with substantially identical hair types.

I did not know this bit of sartorial trivia. You are AWESOME.

Funny, I just bought my kid a pair of faded red/salmon/pink shorts. Somehow I don't think either he or I give a shit what anyone else thinks. BTW, if you want to see how the pros wear pink (or purple or any other colour North American men are afraid of) go to Italy. Those guys OWN pink.

Tracie, are you reading this? THIS is something to feel awful about. Perspective...get some.

I'm Breastfeeding right now and I pretty much love it. Quick, easy, cuddly and extremely good for my baby. And my boobs? They'll be fine. Apparently they droop a little after you stop Breastfeeding, but then regain their fullness in time.

I've pretty much decided that anything that comes from a huge factory (meat, milk, cheese, processed foods) is probably a risk to my health that isn't worth taking. Spending more money for locally raised, free-range foods and eating wild game my family has hunted is starting to seem less and less "extreme" and more
