So they crawled around a track for 32.5 hours. That sounds like a particularly inhumane level of torture. My thoughts and prayers for the mental health of the drivers in this experiment.

Nobody is buying the cars we dont sell
I think they’re talking about the quarter panel above the headlight?
Been waiting for years for a plug-in hybrid (or similar), six+ passenger, off-road capable SUV. Finally, one is in the works.
80% of preorders. Which is a significant majority.
America protected and used alot of those Nazi scientists for American endeavors. Also, America didn’t even care for the war, until the Japanese attacked them. Which is one thing that you don’t do to America, directly attack it. Had Germany attacked Pearl Harbor instead, it would have been a different story I reckon.
Damn, so Chinese EVs are affordable because the country’s government invested in making clean transport accessible to its citizens? How evil. I’m so glad we don’t do that here, outside of the billions in subsidies for EV retooling (https://www.energy.gov/articles/biden-harris-administration-announces-nearly-2-billion-s…
Bingo. This is how you beat range anxiety.
I don’t like trucks. I like that truck.
This is... a really bad take? Not everyone who is going off-roading or overlanding is wanting to be fully “off-grid.” There are plenty of reasons why one might need or want connectivity beyond being reachable by our corporate overlords. I’m sympathetic to the concern, and do believe we should get the hell away from…
Agree and a good percentage of the pre-orders were for the range extended version.
yep
No the entire point of electrification is not that we use 100% electricity only. A range extender makes this vehicle accessible to a lot more folks. I still have no desire to road trip an EV, but would like an EV for around town. A range extender on here is highly interesting to me, letting me use electricity 98% of…
I’ve had a Taycan 4S for almost two years. Only maintenance so far was a new set of tires and a cabin air filter, plus a few recalls that were all handled in one trip to the dealer. It’s not a great road trip car, but it’s a wonderful commuter and an absolute blast to drive.
Looks like shit and driven by idiots that if they didn’t have a decent credit score would be in a Nissan.
A $50k Lucid Air is pretty cool, but do you know what is really cool?
They missed the mark by waiting so long to release an SUV. Lucids are seriously cool and it’d be neat to have one, but I have no purpose for a sedan. My wife and I are currently EV shopping for her, but it’s gotta be a small-medium SUV and sedans are not on the list. Shame because I would be interested in a Lucid…
“I’m too drunk to drive. Wait, I shouldn’t listen to me, I’m drunk.”
