DO get an A6. I’ve owned mine for 3 years and after an APR tune, it’s a sleeper missile that drives like an S-class. It’s also had zero issues in those years after I replaced the water pump.

If you’re shopping for a Volvo that you plan to keep for a while, find a CPO model from a dealership. They offer a 10-year/unlimited mileage factory warranty extension. Volvos depreciate more heavily than I expected so there’s potential for a great deal there.
