Gotta be a reason theres so many on the road long enough to look like theyre held together with spit, dental floss, and prayers.

Cite/arrest, tow/crush, and move on.
Thats just crazy enough to work!
So, I have a Ford Escape Hybrid from 2009 and it has 245k miles on it. From 2009 to 2020 when 220k of the 240k miles were put on it and I was getting consistently 30mpg. Then COVID brought that vehicle use to damn near nothing and that minimal use dropped the battery functionality pretty hard, both more rapid…
I’ve never seen a story with so much “yeah that makes sense” to it. Altima? Check. Cybertruck failing a basic function? Check.
I am very excited about what lease turn-ins will be available in 2-3 years when my oldest car will likely ready to go and it will be EV time.
What EVs have you seen that have a longevity issue? Honest question since I have not heard about this even being a thing outside first/early gen Leafs which used hugely outdated tech compared to todays offerings.
First I heard of this my exact response was “Oasis? Really?” and then immediately stopped caring.
Jesus, thats a good deal. How many miles and years?
This is the first time I am hearing that anyone views EV as “more disposable” than an ICE car. Frankly, that sounds ridiculous.
Probably had to develop tech that would accomplish the same feat that used a layer thinner than human hair than with clay.
Cost is probably fairly substantial, but at scale it must be a pretty large win for them or else it wouldnt be happening. I would be interested in the costs too.
Adaptive cruise control does a great job when asked to maintain your lane. For long drives its fantastic like 95% of the time. I never trust it when pulling the maneuver you mentioned.
This should already be the end of the Boeing space program. This capsule should never have left Earth in the first place.
Tinted or blackout head/taillamp covers. If you are rear-ended with these on, all fault should be on you.
I disagree. They shouldnt have the opportunity to pay for impound and service back to spec. They can have it back as a cube on their front lawn.
So long, and thanks for all the fish.
Japan was so good. The next shows didnt do it for me, but maybe they need another shot.
I, too, think he is too cowardly for this.
If you dont like this, then you really wont like what VW did with their touch-sensitive window selection non-button.
