Very interesting! One thing though is youre not starting from 0. There is already water in the atmosphere and this is adding to that. Is that additional vapor enough to tip some scales and cause rain to start or to drop additional rain? I am thinking very locally. I think its all very cool to think about.

Complete and total side question here.  With that amount of water vapor being released, I’m interested to know how it affects the local weather or humidity, if at all.  Completely out of curiosity and I’m 100% for more nuclear.

There may be rebates available to help pay for your installation.  Also, if you have an electric clothes dryer hookup, there are plugs and setups you can buy to use that plug for about $300.  Cheaper if you just want a splitter and make sure you dont charge at the same time you dry your clothes.

My parents took advantage of the crazy cheap Hyundai leases offered recently.  Ioniq 5 for 279/mo for three years.  They couldnt be happier.  We would too, but we have functioning and paid off cars.  We do NOT want a massive vehicle.  Just a modest EV to get us around town.

Recycling is already happening and there is a lot of tech and research going into making the process better and more ubiquitous.  It will have a major role. 

I dont care if the total emissions dont currently measure less than overall ICE cars.  They decrease my local emissions and I can leave the house every day with a fully charged car.  Never having to go to a gas station again is an incredible feeling.

Years ago I’d say there was no chance I’d consider anything like this.  It has now been years since I’ve looked out my back window and solely back out with the rear view camera and checking out the rear passenger windows.

My jaw genuinely dropped upon seeing it.  Even now its weirdly turning my stomach.  Its not representative of either Ioniq, it doesnt align with any interior notes or anything.  Why on Gods green earth would they do this?

We test drove an Ioniq 6 this weekend. We get the key and the fob is made of this plastic and clear-ish/green-ish rubber buttons. I almost gagged. Why would they make a key that looks like it was made in 1997?
