Yeah. On the upside, Capcom seems to have its act together.

I mean ... I could try to sell my used copy for about 10 bucks.
So that would bring me 10 bucks closer to Remnant: From the Ashes ...

It’s only been six months? Bioware managed to cram in a solid two years of disappointment in six months. That’s efficiency in game design right there.

I guess Sony got tired of making money.

Uhh what? This is by far the most casual friendly game in the franchise.

I mean no. The game is carried because it's a fantastic game, and because it's on a major console. I've enjoyed this immensely more than Awakening. The story is good, the dialogue is great and the character personalities are fantastic. The gameplay itself is also lots of fun.

I miss the days of unlocking extras through gameplay.

Dear Video Game Industry,

Dust you say?!?!?

Man, you’re so smart, of course not one person out of all the people experiencing this issue have tried to fix it with simple remedies. Or have tried cleaning it after taking it apart.  They’ve all just sat around and complained without researching the problem.

So I haven’t really paid close attention to this one, but is it still as defensively-oriented as previous FE games?  I’ve found that I don’t really like strategy games that much where the ideal strategy is just to set up a defensive line and let the enemies throw themselves against you until they’re dead.

That’s literally not the end of the game. You got the bad ending. It’s not the final boss. If you took the time to explore instead of whining that this plays exactly as it should your find what you need for the real ending.

So, what you’re saying is that you don’t like this type of game - That’s cool, you’re welcome to your opinion - but your description belies a fundamental misunderstanding of pretty much all of the mechanics that people like about the game. It’s so wrong that it makes me think you just cherry-picked the comments of

“ With Bloodstained, there came a point where I LITERALLY accidentally happened to encounter the “final boss” without completing the game, and then finished it by beating him”

I read the first few paragraphs before it seemed to be abundantly clear that you have an axe to grind with this type of game and should not be the one reviewing it.  I stopped reading there.

That being said, there’s no good reason not to allow coop or to not just allow private online lobbies for the competitive mode. Remember, the rep said it isn’t in the game as it is now, which definitely hints at the possibility of it being there in the future.

Playing with my friends was the thing that was gonna make me buy the game. The hype is what pushed my friend to finally pull the trigger on getting a switch.

That would not be a Mario Maker game if Nintendo did not totally misunderstood its player base.

Damn! I really wanted to buy it too

I love how Kotaku writers keep making posts about things they hate.
