Battle network for all its flaws still has the best card based action battle system in gaming. I would absolutely buy 2 copies of a collection of 1-6.

Yeah, sharing actual useful information about a game is the same as those three examples. Hacking to pirate is bad but it also can become a useful tool which is why plenty of companies use this sort of info to improve their games.

And if its true? I have been holding off on buying because of performance issues. If it turns out that the DRM is to blame, thats a real slap in the face. People will crack it no matter what, so why punish people who are paying money?

I can’t speak for anyone else, but personally, unless I’m really excited about a release (and this has happened twice in the last three years), I really try and avoid any game that has these kinds of buyable add-ons. I’m more than happy to wait and pay $20 for a bundled collection of content and DLC than I am to keep…

Split Screen co-op is 100% almost impossible to do with today’s games without literally cutting the fidelity in by 40-50%.

Limiting in what way? If I can be at one side of the map and my partner be at the other then I’d be more than happy with it.

Couch co-op is a perfectly recognizable and widely used alternative to ‘split-screen co-op’. Get over yourself.

Co-op is always a plus for me. I don’t even care if Player 2 is relegated to being invisible during cutscenes like in Sniper Elite. Games like this are always more fun with company.

This is important for me. I want more story based games I can play with my son, that’s not an MMO.
