“I believe and the president believes firmly that if you create a system that’s accessible for everybody and you provide the financial feasibility for everybody to get coverage, that we have a great opportunity to increase coverage over where we are right now,”

I think one of the big differences between this and Occupy is that, at least from what I saw, Occupy tended to have a lot of disaffected unemployed counterculture teens/twenty-somethings, while this nascent progressive movement is full of soccer moms and seniors and professionals and blue collar folks and all sorts.

What the hell.

Bannon wants to overthrow the whole world order, end the EU & NATO, etc. He’s talked about war with Iran & war with China. I doubt war with Iran will be international enough to meet his goals. I don’t think he’ll settle for anything less than WWIII.

Bannon has actually, for real said he wants to tear down the state and the entire post-war world order of relative international peace, and return to the nationalism of the 1930s. He does want to blow it all up - and he’s on the NSC.

Well, we’re talking about the same kinda folks who got mad about Star Wars because they thought it was anti-Trump that the Space Nazis are the bad guys. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

It was people on the left calling her those things, so not I’m really sure what that has to do with this. The right was calling her an ugly old cold bitch lesbian murderer who sexually trafficked children.

Even though I’m not from there, he’s going on my “asshole Republicans to write to” list. I bought a stack of blank postcard and am sending out a few each week.

Also, group promo shots are often made up of individual promo shots photoshopped together, which often leaves them looking subtly (or glaringly) “off” because the light sources don’t match up quite right or whatever.

According to the bill, the government pays the credit directly to the insurer.

It’s also an “advanced” credit, e.g. the IRS pays the insurance up front. But not a whole lot.

This plan handles credits the same way, which is why the libertarian types are mad about it. But it provides a lot less help to low income folks.

This proposal is both refundable and advanced/advanceable, so yeah, it will still provide some level of benefit even if you pay no federal taxes. But with no Medicaid expansion, no cost sharing subsidy, and a $2,000/year credit, a lot of low-income folks are at best going to be able to get a catastrophic care plan and

They set it up as a “refundable advanced” tax credit, which translated into regular English means subsidy. Under their plan, if you buy a plan on the exchange, the government will send the insurance company a check for your “tax credit” up front (that’s the advanced part) to subsidize your premium. However, they’re

I haven’t seen this reported, but plan also says that plans that cover abortion will not be considered “qualified plans” and will not eligible for tax credits, either if you buy it individually or through your employer.

The presidency? His credibility with his base, maybe. A major personal lawsuit like that would, I’d think, expose his finances, or lack thereof.

Minorities.

communists, I guess? Though they now think a resurgence of Soviet-style governance in Russia headed up by a KGB strongman is the best thing since sliced bread, so who the hell even knows.

This message endorsed by Donald Trump.

I’ve only had one (which turned out to be a side-effect of an STI, lovely....). But when I was younger I’d get a yeast infection like every other month, so I guess we all have our thing to deal with.
