This is a great summary, thank you for writing. My partner watched the Tomb Raider RTX gameplay the other day, and commented that it didn’t look much different. I tried to convince her otherwise that the lighting was a complete paradigm shift, and has a lot of potential! Read more

I recently caught up fully with MHA too! Man that show is paced to perfection. Every time I think it’s going to slow down, it just continues to accelerate

I’m super pumped for Divinity Original Sin 2's console release at the tail-end of this month! Me and my partner put like 90-odd hours into the first one, and we’ve been itching to play this one since it released on PC late last year. Read more

Pahah that’s amazing! Definitely an astute definition of it aha. Second to only Overcooked and Spaceteam in pure shoutyness.

Absolutely! That reminds me of the Final Fantasy re-releases, such as FFXII: Xodiac Age. That game has a ‘speed-up’ and ‘invicibility’ option, I’m pretty sure. Same with the FF7 Steam release! Read more

Omg yes this. Everytime I play to write about a game, I’m often much more focussed, and complete things much faster. Games are way more fun out of the vacuum - that’s such a fantastic suggestion. Thanks!

Oh I definitely can’t function without 8 hours, so I feel ya! Only on days where I don’t have to get up on the morning after, can I have a good 4am-binge sesh.

Yeah, keeping a spreadsheet can become work very quickly. I personally prefer doing it in huge batches, as there’s some satisfaction in looking back at all the games I’ve played/still to play. Read more

Walkthroughs are a great idea! I actually have an affinity for physical guide books - those big Brady Games hardback ones. It can really enhance a game playing with a guide like that.
