You could just have written about the confrontation but at the end you took things further and peppered in some practical advice on how to modify the vehicle to prevent this. The extra effort you put in is noticed and appreciated.
Shocking. I always figured guys who bought Dodge Demons were totally zen and would only go to tracks after journaling their feelings and embracing their inner children, and then only to help others there self-actualize their potential. This comes as a great surprise.
The Sentra is an epic piece of shit. Had one for two days. Never again. I told the agent that rented it to me to put me down as never wanting one of those again. Same went for the Jeep Patriot, but I don’t rent from Enterprise anymore because of it.
Over the past year, for the not so usual rental, I have had a couple Dodge Chargers, an Audi A6, and a CT6. Those aren’t bad at all. I’ve had the run of the mill Camry, Corolla, Elantra, and Fusion rentals, which offer exactly what you’d expect.
In 2017, I put almost 800 pounds of equipment in a Compass and drove 400 miles. You thought yours was slow, try merging from I-20E to I-285N like that.
Jeep Compass, hands down.
I always somehow end up renting a Nissan Juke,Versa or Rouge. All 3 absolute piles of garbage.
Got it: the Signature dealers will be the ones with the higher overhead than the Certified dealers. So seek out the Certifieds.
