Pot's still illegal in Texas but Harris County's Sheriff Gonzales recently announced that low-level pot users will be fined—not arrested. That's Houston—where the police regard enforcing Immigration Laws as a job for La Migra.

But Texas cities continue to vote Democratic. (Including my city—named after Sam Houston who fought Secession.) We just need to swing the rest of the state. It's a big job…

The Texas State Board of Education has upheld teaching that States Rights, Tariffs & that third thing were the reasons for Secession.
