Yes I think the banking industry has been evil towards working black families, with regards to credit denied, mortgages denied, and generally no help in matters of wealth accumulation. This goes back several generations, probably to the days of slavery.

Parents can give the money to their kids during their lifetime, and it’s not taxed. They can set up a trust fund for transferring wealth to children and it may not be tax-free but definitely avoids inheritance taxes. The taxes on inherited money go to cover costs of probate (among other things.)

You’ve made a good point, but it also depends on where the families live. I wouldn’t judge somebody solely on the fact that their kids went to a private school. There are lots of factors, and different kids have different needs. But yeah, most of those serving in Congress are way above the average middle class…

I think you’ve missed the point of this. Rich people always have choices, they can always afford good education for their children. It’s those other childen, mainly brown and black ones, whose options need to be taken away. That’s what rich people like Betsy Devos have a problem with.

Yeah I came on here to say basically the same thing. They should can the show beucase it’s pretty much played out. But turn it into a movie releases (or TV movies) like every other year, people would definitely stay with it, and the shows would be better.
