Benign and harmless? First day on the modern day incarnation of io9, eh?

If Edward James Olmos were a pedophile who diddled little kids in the back of the van from the pest control company he worked for then yes, that would totally be true.

Wrong.

Cue the “nobody cares, Smurfs, blah blah” comments of people who allegedly don’t give a rat’s ass but still click and post their asinine haterade.

I admire Cameron for not caring about the zeitgeist. The cynical movie would have already cranked out 2 or 3 sequels by now, but Cameron does what he does because he cares. I might think Avatar was a little corny, but he’s got a vision.

So much hate for these and the original Avatar.

Michaela Coel just denied the casting rumours on Twitter.

Agreed. I once got into it with a literary scholar who was doing a program at Trinity college in Dublin (and did reviews on the side for a major publication), and she was literally seeing all these wingdings in some writing that weren’t there or remotely intended, while also trying to take the entire work down for

This was a longwinded way of attempting to stick it to me. Does it help you feel better? I’m not entirely sure why I’m disallowed my opinion, or how I feel about “literary analysis”.

You’re fairly set in your opinions...and this one is no different than most of your other ones...which are all about “you” and not the subjects about which you discuss. The penchant for belief that “authorial intent” being a GOOD thing in any way (especially from

If you can’t be bothered to actually type out a response to me, I can’t be bothered to read some editorial diatribe about how “I’m wrong”.

and people who blindly put all those opponents in the same group what should they be called?

Here’s my issue with a female Doctor (and as it turns out, my wife’s issue with it as well…she rails against a female Doctor harder than I do):

Gaiman has said the first season only covers the first third of the book

Not sure about 13th doctor being a black women. Kinda feels like we are making everything black these day’s. And not i do not mean that racist. I mean its the new “hip” thing to do. ...Why not a indian doctor....

I keep telling you.... all of you continue to overlook the obvious choice:
