Dear Matt Shakman, if you read these comments, please include the character of Janice Rand. She was one of the best characters before budget cuts sent her packing. She was funny, smart, and could go toe-t0-toe with Kirk. (And, well, wanted to go *ahem* toe-to-toe with Kirk.)

Agreed. The season 2 finale aired around the same time as Age of Ultron came out, and I know it’s comparing apples to oranges, but the season 2 finale of SHIELD was much more fun AND satisfying than Ultron was.

The writing direction for Sue more just seems to be “write for any Amy Acker-type” than writing for anyone specifically. The actress clearly makes lemonade out of lemons, hopefully next season they can get a better handle on the character.

Safiyah has all the confidence of a great villain without actually having done any great villain stuff. So far Alice remains the greatest villain of Batwoman, with Black Mask a pretty solid second.

The name “Pop-Tart” is a pun on “Pop Art,” which is funny because Pop-Tarts has definitely outlasted the Pop Art era. The parody has outlived the source material, but in doing so, the joke of the name gets lost with time.
