I tried playing Civ5 with the Gods and Kings expansion last night and it doesn’t seem to work on Steam with Windows 10. The 2k website says they don’t support Windows 10. I guess there is a workaround. So annoying.

I contend that he is one of the main characters. I’m not sure of the screen time minutes each of the characters received, but it sure seemed like they split it up pretty well. He even had scenes by himself where he reveals his thoughts and feelings which you don’t typically have if they aren’t a main character.
I like this theory. Still allows the Skywalker line to be heavily involved in the trilogy too with Kylo Ren being a major villain(maybe turning to the light later) and Luke now being in the next film(s).
This could just mean that Kylo Ren is the main Skywalker in this trilogy. Maybe he turns away from the darkside and that’s the story for this trilogy. Luke is back too so now there is a Skywalker on the side of the light. Even with Rey not being a Skywalker, the Skywalker line could still be heavily involved where…
I saw the movie at a screening. It was enjoyable. Maybe not full price enjoyable, but matinee or morning price enjoyable.
A city-state that is not cooperative or just gets in the way can ruin a game. I enjoy it when I’m able to make them all my allies and use them as border protection against my enemies.
Thanks for the reply. That’s good to hear that it’s sped up a little bit at least. That might be enough for me to try it. I like the crazy diplomacy of the huge maps where you have over 20 civs plus a shit ton of city-states. The smaller maps don’t have that grand feel.
That really sucks. Why is that a thing? Don’t you get to do a tour or the house before closing to make sure there are no hidden surprises or issues once all the furniture is moved out?
Well she did get paid the same amount as her male costars in the last twilight movies. It almost feels like she is talking about it from an outside perspective. She probably has so much money(family money too) that the idea of her needing to make as much as men doesn’t resonate with her. I picture her thinking like,…
There are always a few assholes where most people work.
That would be a great post. I bought in a great neighborhood, but definitely regret a few things about the house. Could have held out longer to get a different house in the neighborhood but was worried about prices rising and inventory.
I had that issue. The sellers were required by the contract to clean the place out before closing(they had stuff all in the attic and crawl space). They didn’t do that so during closing we added a hold on some money which they had to use to pay for a service to come pick up the stuff. Pain in the ass but saved me like…
Exactly. They also pay for trash pickup and snow plows and other street maintenance (unless you live in a subdivision that has a private road plus an HOA).
The most frustrating part for me was the real estate agent part. I’m in the DC area so I had an issue with someone only being licensed in VA but I ended up looking more in MD so I had to switch. I then switched to someone else but when she found out my home buying price range was too low(under 300k) she dropped me and…
For anyone who plays Civ5 Brave New World:
I bet a government contract just went out to Lockheed, Northrop, etc.. for bullet/bomb proof snow tires.
That makes total sense and I agree. I’m glad even if there is a crash it won’t be too bad. It’s amazing to me how many luxury apartments/condos are being built in DC in such a short time span. The demand for any reasonably priced unit has to be so high right now. When I was still renting about 3 years ago it was so…
A timely re-share. DC is a fucking mess when an inch of snow comes. There is always so many people that don’t know how to drive in snow. I get it if you are from the south or the west coast but after your first time driving in it then you should know how to fucking do it. It’s not difficult.
Suitland does kind of suck. I wouldn’t want to live out there.
That’s amazing they will put that much money in. It’s like your salary is 14% higher. I wish my work did that. I have a 401k account that I put my own money in, but my company has never matched.
