I used to love reading his columns and articles in the PG, as a kid all the way up until after college. I followed him over to the Trib as well and would always read his columns. He was the only Pittsburgh writer who actually challenged the Pirates ownership. Now I’m glad I never subscribed to his website.

Or the developers don’t want to build the roads and sidewalks up to the municipality’s legal requirement for them to take on the responsibility of maintaining them. So the developers just use an HOA as a means of not having to pay to widen the street by 2 feet or build a sidewalk on one side of the road.

You can withdraw money from a Roth IRA without penalties as long as its the same money you put into it. You can’t withdraw earnings.

That’s pretty much the best we can hope for. A reclamation project.

No Vocelli’s?

Little Caesar’s used to be so good 20 years ago, especially the crazy bread(though that still holds up a little). However, $5 for a hot n ready is the correct price for shitty take out pizza. They know their audience.

Totally true. I live in that area and the hispanic population here is big enough that their are more than enough good food spots for Mexican and Salvadorian food in particular.

I say no since he didn’t have time to poison it before firing them. It seems you need to poison right before the battle. Otherwise Euron would be dead too due to getting cut several times by the sand sisters since they normally poison their weapons but didn’t have time.

The reason for the seeming success of the wingers is they get to receive passes from crosby and malkin. Don’t get me wrong, they are all at least average to good players, but playing with crosby and malkin makes them look a little better than may be on another team.

Maybe he just likes Beverly Hills Cop?

Plenty of coaches and general managers, across sports, have had the cynical idea to redefine “next season” farther into the future, to signal that This Year Doesn’t Count

Yeah I’ve been saying that too to friends. Sure it worked out because he helped win them the title last year, but it doesn’t seem like it’ll be a good deal in the long run. It really hurts their flexibility and ability to add more scoring to the lineup due to such a huge contract. I guess if you’re cool with $80

First off as I grew up in Pittsburgh I do have a bias about this, but living in DC now I can tell you this simply isn’t true. DC has by far more fair weather fans than Pittsburgh or maybe any other city.

Well that game was mostly boring. Atletico played like shit most of the game. I’m not sure what Griezzman was doing passing backwards instead of moving the ball forward on some of the fast breaks they could have had.

For that salary it is very easy to live in DC, especially with roommates. Maybe not the super fancy place or area, but you’ll have no problem still being in the city with maybe a roommate.

I mean, MLB TV doesn’t show commercials. Just a screen saying that the game will be back shortly. I don’t see why ESPN can’t do something similar for an ad-free package.

According to Baseball America, teams that fit that profile and are reportedly interested in throwing large chunks of money at the talented teen are the A’s, Cardinals, Astros, Reds, Padres, and White Sox

Except if you’re a DC metro area resident and you’re talking to someone not from the area and they ask you where you live, almost everyone in the metro area will just say DC for simplicity.

That seems overly complicated. I think it was just the stupid SEAL training he liked to do. Probably pushed himself too hard one time and fucked up his back. It just never healed properly for him to play golf at the same level or work out at the same level. Back injuries are finicky and not everyone can fully recover

Don’t just look at that though. They have the 8th highest operating income in baseball at 51 million. They could easily increase payroll by 35 million to get 2 or 3 guys that could really help push the team to more playoff chances. Especially with how some of the young talent is still signed to cheap deals.
