I LOVE Lucy Worsley! LOVE.

I am so mad at my fellow Ontarians. I’ve been glowering at everyone since Thursday.

I can only speak for Ontario here, not the whole country, but we are currently so embarrassed and ashamed that Doug fucking Ford was just elected our premier that we can’t possibly stay be mad at you.

I am so glad you wrote this, because there is a teenage girl in my town who is getting TONS of praise for her series of photographs of homeless people. Everyone is going nuts over it. How talented she is! How beautiful and “raw” the photos are! There was something that rubbed me the wrong way about this whole thing

It’s not a statement of their principles or their position, it’s just that two separate parties once merged and the name hasn’t changed since.

I live in a rural Ontario riding (my Dad likes to say that Mussolini could get elected here), and yesterday when I saw all those seniors heading into the polling station, I was mentally shaking my fist at them. I am so disappointed in this province.

I love that Rickyism, and I thank you for reminding me of it on this terrible day.

I hear you. I recently started working in a library. I’m worried.

I just read a book of his, People Live Still in Cashtown Corners (because I live near Cashtown Corners) and it was...not good. At all.

I’m sorry. It hurts me too.

Didn’t she also play Cliff Claven’s mother on Cheers? I dig that actress.

I used to think I liked Aidan, but the character I actually liked was Chris from Northern Exposure. And definitely NOT John Corbett, who is a Republican. That is all. It took me a while to figure all this out.

Ugh, that is awful. I always hope that women will have more compassion but of course that’s not always the case. Also, I totally agree that this whole “wellness” spin on dieting is really odious. Here in Canada, we all contribute to healthcare, so people can get irate about how those who are overweight are “costing us

JESUS. I’m so sorry that happens to you. People are horrible.

It’s my Easter go-to movie.

That would break my heart. Paul Rudd delights me.

You can’t just leave us hanging like this.

I’m constantly surprised about Jack Nicholson, too. And when Christopher Plummer was cast in Spacey’s role, I was just waiting for things to come out about him. I LOVE Christopher Plummer, but he has admitted to being drunk throughout much of the ‘60s and ‘70s, and has done a lot of womanizing.

I want to hug her and punch all those dudes in their smug stupid faces.

I have a four year old boy and both my husband and I are working hard at this. We are fortunate to live in a community with a lot of progressive people who support this, too. But I’m not going to get complacent. This is too important.
