Don’t feel guilty! Alone time is precious. I like when my husband goes away on business. It’s nice to miss one another sometimes. Looking after the kids alone is a bit rough at times, but I think it’s ultimately good for our relationship.

It’s back! I spent the whole evening on Friday reading them and then my husband startled me and I ended up on the floor, cry-laughing.
I’m doing great, thank you. I’m so glad your little one is sleeping through the night! What a relief when that happens. My little guy is almost four so I’m fine now but I also got really lucky that my health care team (all women!) got right down to business and I got well very fast. Medication and counselling and lots…
Seriously. When my second was a baby I actually became mentally ill due to the extreme sleep deprivation. I ended up with Post partum anxiety and depression when he was four months old and would have loved some help. And I live in Canada where we at least have generous maternity leaves, but there is such stigma…
There are dozens of us. DOZENS!!!
My female chiropractor does that all the time and it weird me out.
Where was your brother during those times? Is it possible that he was pulling these stunts?
Exactly!! I thought it was a person being weird and baaing at the sheep!
I’m scared of your story but also laughing at PLEASE GIVE ME A TOILET. Scared laughing.
This is an excellent story because I was recently at a petting zoo with my kids and a sheep unexpectedly Baaaed at me and it started me and I KNEW I WAS AT A PETTING ZOO. It’s a weird sound if you’re not used to it.
AHHHHHHHH
That is indeed a fun fact.
My daughter used to lurk like a little ghost child all the time as a toddler. She’s six now and thank goodness she cut that out because I would full on scream when I would find her at the top of the stairs of by my bed. WTF, kid.
That’s exactly what I pictured!
You’re awesome at Doot doot doodle because I immediately pictured Homer daydreaming about going to clown school.
I showed my kids this guy dancing one time and they are fully obsessed with him. He’s got moves.
That is so sad! Alzheimer’s is awful.
You did the right thing. Have you read The Gift of Fear? You were right to trust your gut.
I don’t even sit in restaurants with my back to the door. My sister says that is a mafia move but I stand by it. Safety first.
