Were there movie chains cancelling their requests for prints of this movie prior to Sony's decision to pull the release entirely? None of the reports I saw about Sony's decision not to release this movie as intended mentioned the fact that AMC/Loews/Regal/whoever asked Sony not to distribute it to them.

As a bankruptcy judge who used to preside over cases I was handling said, "You can sleep in your car, but you can't drive your house to work."

Curses! I bought the stand mixer on ebay at the beginning of the month for $50 more than this and I'm still waiting for it to arrive.

As a kid, I always enjoyed going to the drive-thru liquor stores in southern Ohio. Basically just a barn with a path down the middle for cars to use, but still amazing to watch my grandfather buy beer without leaving the car.

Does the whole "girlfriend from Niagara Falls" work for people who live in New York? I thought that was a Midwestern dodge.

You have a really low bar for "evil," don't you? Unless you're going to blame the headline on the editor, nothing in the article really argues that Rodman is evil in any real sense. Clueless, desperate for attention, and unreasonably entitled, sure, but evil? I'm not seeing it.

Nope. Last week's Funbag had an EOTW. I guess Funbag readers are falling down on their slightly embarrassing stories about stuff coming out of their butts.

I've only seen ATK once; I thought my DVR had recorded an episode with a recipe for oatmeal muffins recently, but apparently my local PBS station is a little loose with its programming schedule and I got a half-hour of some history-related show instead. Their instructional manual of cooking techniques is on my

What, no poop or fart email of the week? I demand a refund!

That response certainly veered off in an entirely unwarranted direction.

So aside from this weaksauce attempt at insult comedy, what about this article couldn't basically apply to whatever famous person happens to be sitting courtside at a basketball game these days?

Seconded. I've only recently started to make some of the recipes from Good Eats, but that show has probably taught me more about why his recipes are built the way they are than any other cooking show on TV.

Look, if you're getting a pizza with more than a half-inch of untopped crust that's just bullshit. You should be able to turn that slice 90 degrees when you're nearly done with it and easily eat crust plus all the goodness you ordered for that pizza.

I like that idea, but Kevin Conroy is a little too old to play Batman these days. Having seen him at the end of "I Know That Voice" (a doc on voice-over actors), I'm also not sure he'd be able to put on enough size to look like Batman. He's got more of a Tyler Durden-type frame than Christian Bale.

I thought to myself "how hard could it be?"

If I were more sensitive to having things touch my eyes, the hardest part would have been when the doctor took a pair of swabs and smoothed the cornea flaps back down at the end of the procedure. It's a little weird seeing that go on without being able to feel much of it. I'd say that, start to finish, the actual

Ok, that's kinda gross. I had my procedure over the summer, and the doctor was pretty careful to tell me that the smell I'd experience during the second half of things was definitely NOT coming from my eyes.

That was probably just exhaust from the equipment they used, but when I had my eyeballs lasered it did smell like someone's hair was on fire.

To be fair to Jay Cutler, he doesn't need to randomly punt the ball to play as badly as the 2014 Lakers. He just needs to keep Cutlering like he has been all season.

I'm a big fan of Schick's Hydro shaving cream. It's reasonably priced, covers my face well (I went through half my first can before I realized how much I was rinsing off my hand after lathering up) and is available just about everywhere. I'm currently using this with Dollar Shave Club's 5-blade razor, and haven't
