Why Donatas speak in broken English? Do Donatas coworkers not speak Lithuanian?

Jan Michael Vincent reference for the win!

I'm pretty sure it would have been pronounced "France" on the Springfield Evening News.

I wouldn't go so far as to call her "unattractive," but for whatever reason she really doesn't do much for me.

Yeah, the motivation is primarily the physical challenge, and you get a lot of crazy looks from co-workers when you tell them exactly what you have to do to finish one. I'm not even sure I enjoyed my first one that much, but I'm considering doing another one.

NBC Sports did have a contract for some of the Ironman races other than Kona 5 years or so ago; that's what ultimately made me convince myself to participate in the Ironman race in Louisville. I will say that the telecast of the one Lake Placid race I saw was pretty weak.

Quick thinking by that second baseman to not attempt to tag Harrison when he slid past the base. So much better to provide the fans with something a little more exciting.

I thought he said only that PBR and Schlitz were better than High Life. Doesn't necessarily mean that any of those beers are "good."

I think Wang actually threw the sword into the bad guy's chest and that's what flung him somewhere.

I want to say Wang beats him in that goofy swordfight where they hurl themselves at each other from across the room a few times, then for some odd reason decide to jump in the same direction for a completely horizontal bit of swordplay. (although it could totally be that he dies offscreen somehow)

I seem to recall that ESPN or ESPN2 was airing Magic: The Gathering tournaments about 20 years ago to fill time in the wee hours of the morning. I don't really see the conceptual difference here. That first letter in ESPN does stand for "entertainment," after all.

I think the cap hit is based on what the Lakers signed him for.

I've seen that shot (or another one from a different angle) before, and just knowing he's up that high loosens my sphincter.

I'm glad I randomly decided to hit this site, because I had no idea Weird Al had released a new album. There will be a purchase of an outdated music medium in my future!

I hadn't thought about the beginning date of the signing period, but the longer he can dupe GM's into thinking they have a chance at him, the less time and effort they can spend on other free agents and the more groveling they'll have to do when it's obvious that any free agent is that team's "Plan B."

Honestly, I think the best part of this whole thing would be that he never had any intention of leaving Miami and he's just doing all this to mess with the free-agent market. The longer he waits to re-sign with Miami, the more money teams with cap room are going to end up throwing at other guys in a panic.

Bill Simmons has been called many things over the years, but I really doubt that "journalist" is one of them.

?

Nice try, dude.

I'll direct you to the Chicago Public Library's section of books under the category of "Urban Fiction." You can also tell them it's racist.
