What really pisses me off is that when the Victims of bullying finally decide that ignoring isn't working and stand up for themselves, more often than not they are the ones who get repercussions for daring to snap back at the person who's been tormenting them for so long.

I got tripped too, running the mile in 6th grade. I didn't want to run the mile that day, so part of me was glad I got to stop after 1 lap, but the other part of me never understood what I did (or didn't do) to deserve it. 24 years later, I have the ugly scar on my knee to remind me of it. Kids can be awful.
