It's both. There has to be an argument about how much MF owes to AD, and a second about whether MF or Community is the best new comedy of the season. And we have to take it very seriously, pretend there's an objective answer (ours), and be condescending to those on the other side. This is, after all, the Internet.

Regular Gonzalez, thank you for bringing the phrase "which is why fuck him" to my attention. It's simply beautiful; can't wait to use it.

What made the interrogation scene doubly great is that Dwight was supposed to be playing the butler.

Inerita reminded me, we still don't know who detonated the bomb, do we?

That's exactly right.

I'd judge you for screwing me.

I don't really get it.
Clearly, there are other people who very strongly feel differently, but this doesn't seem like a big deal to me. Having Gwen sing the Stones or Kurt sing Bush or whatever just seems kinda silly and fun. It in no way comments on the character of those artists or on their music. These are just

It does fit the format of the show, though. If this were a real reality show, that's what they'd try to do.

I'm really enjoying Courtney Cox's performance on CT. The specific blend of awkwardness and "fuck-it" swagger she manages gives Jules a charmingly relentless quality. I can't think of another performance quite like it.

The boys knew they were clones, but never knew their real purpose.

I don't think OSI and the GCI are the same organization, but I do think their histories are probably closely entwined, with the origin of both beginning with the schizm of the original Guild seen in "Orb."

Destroy All Monsters
I wish they'd get out of this rut of making the end bosses crazy monsters with cheap attacks. Devil or Ogre could at least be fought straight up, but I have to completely abandon my usual techniques against Azazel and it's no fun.

GJF is right. I'm playing on an HDTV and have no trouble reading it, but before I got this TV I played Ghostbusters on a standard def set, and most of the text was barely readable.

I would prefer to simply see a Short Circuit sketch on Robot Chicken. Otherwise, this is more input I don't feel I need, Stephanie.

When I was a kid, I remember finding the Garfield special with the Ghost Pirates actually kind of creepy, but I think it was probably because I didn't expect a Garfield special to have an actual supernatural menace.

…if only to reorient the holiday towards the people it's ostensibly for.
The Celts?

Roth's enough reason for me to watch. He's pretty great in this, and to whatever extent the show around him does work (which I think it mostly does), so much the better. But this morning I found myself wondering if he's enjoying acting the meatier scenes they seem to be giving him this year, or if he's going to

Beep Boop-e-dee-boop. Squoooo.

I thought the Club of Bluntness usually came with a Side of Your Choosing and a Small Drink.

Noel, I have to disagree that Community's writing isn't tight. The cast and direction is adroit enough to give it that semi-improved energy, but look at something like the "Pierce will beat that in one minute" gag playing out in the background of a rapid-fire interchange, and tell me that's not tight writing.
