The Golf R is boring.... maybe better phrased that it is too pedestrian. I cross shopped them all and the 6 speed R just didn’t feel fast even if it was. It handled well, but never felt as focused as my.... Focus RS was. Now, if we start talking build quality and interior accoutrements then the R wins that battle. My

You’ll fit in a S3 just fine.... I’m not 6'2" but my friend is 6'1" and he gets into my RS3 with no problems. The seating position is a little high so you may not end up liking it compared to the Scion. It will definitely fit your family as well (reason I have four doors so I can shuttle most of my family in the case

Well, I find that it isn’t set to a 0-100% scale where a 10% increase over 10 iterations equals a maximum achievement of stiffness. The mqb platform can use an upgrade.... take the existing cross bracing. There is a fine quality unibrace that really does wonders. A front strut has been known to help as well. There’s

I was thinking the same thing - This is like most technology. The wealthy have the money to cover the higher costs due to rarity/r&d/etc and then it finally becomes equitable for the middle class.

The more difficult part with EV cars is their longevity and used market value for those that don’t want a new car, or need

The collectible car market has been completely insane for a while. The pricing is going nuts..... The RX7 is going to be the next on the list and I bet the Z32 TT isn’t far behind.

Mid-Engine.... and light.

I will say that the Focus RS was much more dialed in than my RS3 when it came to handling. The focus stayed planted and allowed for more spirited driving than the Audi.

I have a RS3 and probably would have gone with the TT RS if I didn’t need a proper back seat and some modicum of sensibility. The Porsche is a different animal an what it appeals to. They are definitely more focused on track day times than the TT is, but Audi really makes a quality interior, nice ride for the days you

Had an IS350 and was told the same thing. That’s what I was coming in here to say. Ha.....
It’ll be interesting what they say.

I tried to go look at C45 and C63 but our Mercedes dealership is awful. Those folks are way too uppity for me. The Audi shop was great even though it was about the quickest and slowest test drive I have ever had. They didn’t want any miles on it so I think I purchased it with 17 or so. The BMW dealership was top notch

I’m not sure they have a lot of room to grow at this point - in hrsprs. I’m not sure if I read the article here or elsewhere, but McClaren is already trying to get the weight down rather than adding a ton of horsepower. They’ll always be a place for HUGE power out of the cream of the crop hypercars, but let’s get

How about we stop with the CR’s? That would be brave..... Congress has no honor. I’ve said it elsewhere that honor will return when those in power start voting in legislation the limits their power. Term Limits, performance based pay, etc.

I love the engine in my RS3 but I don’t think it would scream exotic enough for a 140-190k car. It would be great if they were thinking of a middle ground between the TT-RS and R8..... if they decide to switch engines the a 4l turbo charged engine may be the way to keep it exotic enough and enough variation between

Not sure it’s going to be infinitely tunable or as cheaply tunable as the old Supra. That thing was easy with the BPU path. Following the M3 scene then I don’t expect to see a lot to squeeze out of these.

Giving off a lambo angle vibe.

1990 300Zx twin turbo..... Loved it, sold it, heard it had been totaled and have a key as a momento. Still want another.

Would rather see some shift to a proper semblance of free trade..... maybe China could stop stealing American companies I.P; pay their employees better; enact some realistic environmental controls... and the list will go on.

It isn’t a misfire, but it doesn’t scream new and modern to me. I mentioned that it feels like the Infiniti Q60 (rear), Stinger (front), and the SL/SLK (profile). It fits the design language of BMW but I wouldn’t be in line to buy one. The M2 Comp Pack looks better.

Reminds me of a SL and a Q60 coupe mashup. Not horrible but not great either.

Interesting - we saw two with some camo on them yesterday. One was a 911 and the other a 911 Turbo. They had stickers over the lights to throw off the look, and then some weird armor over the sides of the taillights so you couldn’t see it. They also covered up the interiors. The drivers were nice enough since we
