I switched from all the commuting listening to spending about 40 minutes of listening while taking a walk and about an hour before bed. I used to read with the lights low to get used to it, but I feel sort of like a kid again listening to someone read me stories before bed.

Is it just me, or is there a little styrofoam boat with a Go Pro on it that keeps showing up? It looks like the darkened pieces of “cooled lava”, but darned if it doesn’t seem to show up a lot.

Probably not. Where I am, it’s for both seniors and the immunocompromised, so that wouldn’t work. I have noticed a number of stores seperating the entrance and exit and watching with an iPad. I suspect they’re monitoring the number of people in a store at the given moment, but no one has asked me not to enter.

4S here, strictly a backup phone for when I go hiking or camping. If I lose it, oh well, and it holds plenty of music and still gets texts on the way there and back.

Yep, as long as they are still signing the file. It would be like if you had the over the air update still on your phone and you finally hit install.

ELIZA is that you?
“Why do you need for it to be me?”
I don’t.
“You seem very negative. Why is that?”

I always empathized with Schroeder. It’s not that I disliked people. Even Schroeder participated, but he participated in his own way. In a school play, he played music. He did school work. He played on the playground. But none of that was his passion. He had something he loved and someone who claimed to love him never

So... you’re saying griefing and betrayal is irritating. Except when you and your mates do it, because then it’s funny?

So, how to know if you’re contagious? You won’t even know you’re contagious until it is too late. Whoops.

I’m curious, what were the hidden mechanics? The unstated rules of games are fascinating.

Especially the silenced pistol from the Citadel DLC.

I’ve found that the Spearhead Armoury .357 Revolver in Alien Isolation is a breath of fresh air next to many a first person shooters generic handgun. Isolation takes you through the first part of the game alone and unarmed. Things are scary and it starts to feel like Amnesia or Outlast. You can run and you can hide

Why is it not a thing to require two factor authentication on phones yet? With a fingerprint sensor and passcode, I’d be really happy to set it so you have to hold your finger on the sensor while you enter your code, or it doesn’t work.

See Alien: Resurrection!

I’m definitely interested in jailbreaking my phone, but the war between billion dollar companies and small groups of hackers leaves the latter struggling to keep up.

Barring a brain scan... sure? But it is also possible you’re an introvert (based on preference) who has learned to emulate extroversion to conform or excel in social situations.
