In my first semester of university I thought I had finished all my exams until I realized I had still one final exam the next morning (or in 3 hours, depending on how you see it). I had the choice between sleeping 2 hours or last minute cramming. I chose sleep and got the second best score.

Some years ago I removed my grandparents’ wedding picture from the frame to look if the date was written on the back. The frame was pretty thick and now I think I know why. I always thought it was just the two of them in the picture, but at their feet lay a flower girl in roughly this pose (with a bit more ennui).
