I don't know what I expected from this Kinja thing, but I'm still making comments via Disqus…am I in limbo?

Goodwill for comic nostalgia and all aside, if any of the subsequent series spend much time with the Hand or Elektra, I'm going to feel inclined to skip them. Unless the writing and budgets improve sharply.

I thought SPLIT was a boring film with decent performances.

Oh ffs.

I'm 53 and I had to look up "Panglossian"…thank you for the continued education.

The deuce you say!

Like Alan Parker, Soderbergh seems perfectly comfortable slipping from genre to genre.

I would easily put THE LIMEY and OUT OF SIGHT on top of such a list. Equals, but I have a soft spot for Terence Stamp. LIMEY #1.

Glove ex machina.

Every episode made me laugh, but Milano cutting that cake made me stop and wheeze-giggle for a few minutes before proceeding. Kudos.

I was so unimpressed I missed that in the review. Your take on the rest, I imagine, is spot on.

Oh shit, this is on Netflix? Well, don't I feel silly.

Can we get a Spoiler Space? I really don't want to watch this, even on cable, but I am mildly curious how bad the answer's going to be.

But how well do they hold up now?

I didn't catch that, but yes, that makes no sense at all. I forgot the Sonny Jim moment and assumed last week ended with the champagne and pie scene.

Last night made me wonder if Lynch is pulling a (that HBO program) on us, messing with varying timelines. Seems like 3-4 episodes ago, Truman was saying in two days they'd need to go to that place in the forest; and every episode in locations outside Twin Peaks seem to be a new day. But then we have that conversation

Coon being recognized for both shows is pretty terrific. Oh, Emmys. Why can't you be that savvy?

DINNER was light fare, but I was surprised at how consistently cute, sweet, and funny it could be. After the baby-poop-in-the-mouth gag, I expected the worst. It was actually okay. Then again, I'd had a really rough afternoon, so I may have needed "light".

Just got back, and yeah, it's a dull, rushed, terribly underwhelming film.

Wondering why you decided to run a preview including films you've already reviewed, and others you seem less than thrilled about. It's not even "films you need to see"…just, "hey, NUTJOB 2 is coming soon. Ehhhhhh."
