"I'm dying, Agent Myers. Like any father, I worry about the cocksucker."

To's PTU would be second in that list.

Thank you.

yeah…I know

I will say that one of the most confounding things each week is not the show itself, but the surprising number of commenters who think they know more/better about the series than its actual creators.

The heart of the episode was the Forster/Beymer-Beymer/Judd scene, which frankly took me by surprise as perhaps the best dramatic part of the entire season (so far). Beymer really does fine work here. The gentle back-and-forth, Frank not wanting to overplay the bad news, and Ben's acceptance of it followed by his

Wasn't TO DIE FOR a black comedy?

That AMITYVILLE remake was in 2005. This has been happening a lot longer than that.

Was that the one with the overabundance of rats?

A "family-friendly" film has to be really charming or creative these days to get my interest. This sounds like a jaded Philistine jagoff of a film.

Surely someone caught the JL trailer opens with white lettering in black background that matches the post-death Superman's suit. I mean, that was obvious, right?

Goodness me, what a charming fellow!

I don't know why but this made me start wheeze-laughing. Thank you.

Ballers. They eat their cereal at 2pm.

So, I don't know many of the big stories after, oh, 1987? Never heard of Secret Invasion…is it good? Are there "important" Marvel series that should be read as fun background, or that you think the MCU should adapt?

I have not read the book, so I hate to jump to conclusions regarding the narrative. But I will say this trailer looks more like over-stuffed Proyas than Spielberg. I love a good science-fiction adventure, but for a high-profile advance teaser, this was a mess.

Much as I found to dislike, I would have respected the writers just a bit more if they had allowed Ethan to come clean. That was one of the biggest failures of the series, since it seemed like it was supposed to be the crux of the drama. But the Max sleep-walking-through-work thing was just awful. Talk about
