Castle Danger is tattoo worthy.

I agree with that first assessment and your brother’s about beer culture. That third group is the reason why I have never gotten into a beer social group.

In many areas clinics have free STI testing via grants and other sources.

Thank you for making our days brighter with this theory.

And where that number probably came from and which has now been bookmarked:

Another point with Medicare for All that my wife brought up, and please do correct me if I’m missing something here, is that it would significantly reduce business costs as well, at least for those that provide (and pay for) decent health plans for their employees.  Right?

Growing up in a town with a Pizza Ranch (a location that used to be a Hardee’s) we used to say that the chicken was where it was at and that the pizza would always be lackluster. Clearly, this was smarmy bullshit, stated to make one feel like you knew better than others.  This is what Pizza Ranch does to small towns,

A lot of outdoor and active wear companies make excellent long underwear. I highly recommend wool ones from Smartwool or Icebreaker.

Satellite ears FTW! Doop doop doop!

That’s excellent! I’m sharing this with a friend of mine who hosts a fundraiser on her birthday every year for a similar cause. We, internally, all call the funds raised “blood money.

But see, GOOD peanut butter is simply finely ground peanuts, no additives.

To extrapolate this, would we then call peanut, almond, and cashew butter; peanut, almond, and cashew spread instead?

Nailed it on the head with the people never having tried anchovies on pizza (not the worst, won’t be doing it again by choice).

The hospitals and clinics do have one thing right though and that is the concern over reimbursement rates from government plans. They all need to be reconsidered and adjusted.

The only takeaway necessary:

No surprise there. I grew up a quick 20 minute drive from Jordan. People are finally starting to use “latino/latina” instead of “Mexican” in reference to their immigrant neighbors (sure from Mexico, but also Guatamala, El Salvador, and much of the rest of Central America) in that area who found farm jobs that wouldn’t

Our local provider used to (and still does on occasion) have to have a doctor travel 160+ miles one way for a day of procedures.  Thankfully, we now have a local provider for most clinic days.  Being able ti expand the provider pool would be a great leap forward in access.

The regional loyalty angle is so true.  My fridges (full size and dedicated beer fridge) tend to be stocked with MN (me) and CA (partner) beers with the occasional classic seasonal standby like Hopslam.  Why go out and try a bunch of new things when I’ve discovered a dozen local varieties that fit my tastes and needs?

Yeah our 403(b) is now through them.  I like them even more now!

I wouldn’t be surprised if this case goes the way that many anti-nuclear power/weapons demonstrators cases go and that they will get a fine, slap on the wrist, and MAYBE 30 days for anyone being charged with felony level things.
