Yup, America can be a shit show when it comes to alcohol laws. In a lot of states, only beer and wine can be sold in grocery stores so only malt liquor based seltzers can be sold in them instead ones that have a vodka base even though they have the same ABV. And different taxation rates at the federal level caused all

Any BMW 2002 but particularly my own (actually a 1502). I shopped them for over a decade. When I finally found “the one” it was in Amsterdam (I’m in the US) I bought it and shipped it home having little to no idea what I was doing at the time. It was almost lost at the goal line, but I got it. I love the way it looks

Miata is the obvious answer here, so I’m going with my gut and saying this

There’s a Honda Beat in my area and I only saw it once, street parked at night about a week ago. I was at a stoplight and it was being drowned in the headlights of the truck behind me so I couldn’t get a good photo but seeing it made me all giddy like a lil child.

Who doesn’t love a final generation Defender? Looks that will age well for another century, terrible ride, and a multitude of fantastic colors. Bonus smile for utility wheels. (Current generation is NOT a Defender)

Any antique actually being driven. I’ve seen plenty of trailer queens over the years, but seeing that Ford Model A on the 2-lane still being driven (or tri-5 Chevy, or Desoto, or Packard, or whatever from days gone by) always makes me smile.  It’s great to see someone actually using their antique, even if it is only

About a month ago I was rushing to work in the morning, a morning that proved Murphy’s Law is still in full effect. What a shit start to another day in the office. Then I looked in my rearview mirror at a painfully slow stoplight and saw one of these.

A 2CV in the US. DS a close second. Admiring the level of commitment.

Any classic Beetle. They’re still out there, doing their job, making everyone’s day just a little better when they see it.

My little Fiat Abarth. It goes beyond a smile, more of a giggle, each time.

Another cursed phrase that has to go away: “start slideshow.”

If there was ever a more perfect condiment to compliment thick-sliced, center-cut, hickory-smoked bacon as a dip, well, I think we can look no further.

Just an FYI, Little Brownie Bakers is a subsidiary of Keebler so their version of Thin Mints is almost identical to their Grasshopper cookies. ABC Bakers is a subsidiary of Hearthstone Foods, which is a contract manufacturer for store brands.

Which product does the best job of transferring pancake corn syrup into my gaping maw?”

If they have a chicken parm version, I’m down to give a few of them a try. Another good option would be a western version.

It is so surreal to see a picture of my primary Taco Bell on an article like this

There’s clearly not any one correct answer, but if you absolutely had to pick one, I think some kind of chicken soup would be it. I bet there’s a variation of it in the cuisine of virtually every culture where chickens are available.

Split pea is not on the list therefore list is fail.

I’m known in my family for my soups. We eat soup for a meal quite often - either with a salad or a sandwich on the side. In fact we’re having roasted red pepper and pumpkin soup tonight with smoked salmon topped focaccia. I’m also making stuffed grape leaves just because I want some and can’t get any good ones around

The CX-5 in my garage as that’s the furthest I went, and based on how winded I got about the furthest I could go, this weekend... fucking COVID.
